What a great day! Just the right temperature, not much headwind and no mechanical issues. We arrived in Digion in time for lunch, so had some food and a little kip by the canal. We’ve got a day off tomorrow, planned around the England world cup games (silly us!). We’ll be looking on Google later to find something to do, I can’t see us staying up into the early hours celebrating a big win!! It feels like we’ve done the hardest part, after battling through the heat of Italy and the mountains of the alps, and have a few days that are easy (in comparison) before some longer days and more hills in the last week. Maybe we should take advantage of the situation, especially as Steve is nursing a sore knee. It’s an old issue and we need to make sure it doesn’t cause problems in the days to come.
I’ve managed to get some more photos on our Flickr page, although there are still lots more to upload, once we’ve worked out how to download them from the camera!
Glad you had a trouble free day. enjoy the football, and your day off 2moro, :::thought:::If you dream it you can do it.
love mum.xxx
We’re praying for you, and Steve’s sore knee. Never mind the football, just enjoy the scenery and the people.
Robin (the Vicar)
Lovely to hear from you Robin. Yes we’re making the most of each day as it’ll be over before we know it sadly!
